Whether you're playing competitively, training with your local club, or just enjoying a social game with friends, sport should be something that makes you feel strong, confident and empowered.
Whether you're playing competitively, training with your local club, or just enjoying a social game with friends, sport should be something that makes you feel strong, confident and empowered.
For many women and girls, however, periods can sometimes feel like a barrier to participation.
Worrying about leaks, managing symptoms, or simply feeling uncomfortable can make stepping onto the court feel more challenging than it should. That's why, at Lil-Lets, we're passionate about helping break down the stigma around periods and encouraging open conversations about menstrual health.
It's also why we're incredibly proud to be supporting - Netball Aid 2026.
Netball Aid is a charitable initiative that brings together the netball community, celebrities, athletes and supporters to raise money for important causes through the power of sport. The ambition is to create a fundraising event for netball that celebrates the game while supporting charities and communities along the way.
Following a hugely successful inaugural event in 2025, which raised £40,000 for BBC Children in Need, Netball Aid returns in 2026 bigger and bolder than ever before.
Taking place on 15 November 2026 at the Utilita Arena Birmingham, the event will bring together netball fans for a day of entertainment, fundraising and celebration as the sport marks 100 years of netball.

At Lil-Lets, we've spent years helping people feel more confident navigating their periods.
We know that periods don't stop when life gets busy. They don't pause for school, work, training sessions, tournaments or match days.
Yet many young people still tell us that their period has affected their confidence when it comes to participating in sport.
That's why partnerships like Netball Aid are so important.
Together, we share a belief that everyone should feel able to participate in the sports they love, regardless of where they are in their cycle. By encouraging education, confidence and open conversations, we can help make sure periods never become a reason for someone to sit on the side lines.
The benefits of sport go far beyond fitness.
Sport helps build confidence, resilience, teamwork and friendships. It creates communities, inspires future generations and gives people opportunities to challenge themselves in new ways.
Netball in particular has a long history of bringing people together, creating supportive environments where players can grow both on and off the court.
Every player deserves to enjoy those benefits without feeling held back by their period.
One of the most powerful ways to break down period stigma is simply to talk about it.
The more we normalise conversations about periods in sport, the easier it becomes for players, coaches, parents and teammates to support one another.
A forgotten product, a difficult symptom or a worry about leaks shouldn't be something anyone feels embarrassed to discuss.
By working together, we can help create sporting environments where periods are recognised as a normal part of life - not a barrier to participation.
