Find Your Answer

If you’ve asked Vicki a question she’ll post the answer on this page (and the best thing is nobody will ever know it was you that asked!).

Once you’ve asked your question there are four different ways to find out the answer you need:

1.

Type in the unique reference number you were given after you asked your question.

2.

Enter a keyword or words from the question you asked to find an answer. For example use the keywords 'period' 'first', if you asked, "I'm 13, when will I get my first period?"

3.

Search for a question by clicking on one of the categories.

4.

Look through the most recently asked questions, which appear below.

You never know, the other questions that have been asked might be worth looking at too. :)

Hi Vicki! So - I know it's illegal to be sexually active under the age of 17 (I think it's different in the ROI to the UK, where it's 16) but what does that actually mean? Because kissing is technically a sexual activity right? So is it illegal? Or is it only having sex that's illegal under 16? I just want to clarify that I am 14 and I have absolutely zero intention of having sex with anyone, I'm just curious about the technicalities of that law.

Hey Viki, I kissed a guy and realised later I had a cut lip - so I told him I had 1 ex who I didn’t have sec with but he touched himself then me but I hope he washed his hands enough / used enough sanitiser before touching me (on the outside down there). Anyway, I had the test for HPV cause I was scared as he slept with somebody years ago. Luckily my results were negative (well, low chance to none). Anyway we decided- the guy I kissed - we’re not able to get together cause it wouldn’t work out. But I told him - what if my cut lip bled and he contracted my HPV but of course guys can’t get tested. So if he finds somebody else within the next two years - what if he gives soemthing to her? What if he doesn’t bother telling her we kissed when I had a cut lip? I think he’s concerned if he has a girlfriend and says we kissed / tried to be a couple that his new partner won’t feel comfortable with us being friends even though we’re trustworthy and would never cheat we’re not that kind of ppl we’d just be friends obviously. But yeah - I’m your opinion, would you say it’s morally wrong if he doesn’t tell his future girlfriend that we kissed and he could be at risk of HPV? Or is it morally okay for him to not tell her because my results were low to none? What do you think? Should he be encouraged to tell his future partner? I think it’s morally fair. I want to know from ur perspective plz do he being selfish or not?

Hi, I'm so sorry if this is inappropriate. I've never had sex without a condom, but I probably do have sex about once a week ish. My bf and I are super careful about using them correctly, etc. I'm supposed to get my period today (I'm super duper irregular though), and I've had cramps for a couple days. But for like a week, my boobs have been really sore, and my nipples had been pretty tender about a week ago (they're not now). I was really hungry recently, and I've been sleeping more (but I'm also super busy and stressed and catching up on sleep now that I'm on break). I've had stringy discharge today and maybe this week? I honestly don't know if that's abnormal for me. How worried should I be? I can't talk to my parents, I just can't. And I won't be 18 for a few weeks.

Is sleeping with ur bf sex or not? I slept with my bf a few weeks ago and it’s rly starting to worry me cos I don’t want me or him to get in trouble. I am 14 and he is 15 and we never consciously do sex, but we make out a lot. We were just on a weekend holiday and my parents knew we were going but did we have sex or not?

This is kinda embarrassing, but my boobs are ticklish. I turned 16 about a week ago and I had my girlfriend over the other day (she's already 16) and we cuddled and kissed like normal, and as her hand brushed over my boobs I couldn't help myself from giggling and wriggling away, my girlfriend thinks that this is cute and has no issues with it, but I still feel embarrassed because I really do want to be touched there by her Thanks, Angel

Hey Vicki. I think I’ve been doing masturbation unknowingly for ages, but now I kinda like it, and do it often is this ok? Also, im starting to feel a rly strong desire to do sex, but that would be illegal. Sometimes I just think about doing sex, and idk whether this is ok or whether I should stop but I don’t want to tell my parents or gp or friends cos im just not comfortable with doing that. Can you help me, as this sexual desire keeps getting stronger and (this is rly embarrassing) my vagina keeps on doing wierd sensations when I think about it. My body sorta tells me that it want s to sex, and I kinda want to, but I also want to stop my sexual desire from taking over. Pls reply quick. Btw, I just want to say this, but my real name is not Jamie. From Jamie x
